The Shramik Foundation wants an endeavor that has a world of full hope, tolerance and social justice, where poverty has been eradicated and people can live a happy life like other normal people living in dignity and security.
Social justice is the idea that all people everywhere in the world have the right to a dignified life. May all have a life free from poverty, violence, discrimination or human rights violations.
With social justice, there is an initiative where people from all societies are involved, and all people can claim their rights to health care, shelter and education, no matter how poor or rich they may be.
The main objective of the Shramik Foundation is to build an old age home with an orphanage where the elderly in the age group of 55-75 voluntarily help the institution in providing child care and education. The intention of the organization is to create a space where children and the elderly can live together and provide a homely environment for each other. The house will also have activities such as cottage industries or teaching, where the elderly can earn a living and live with dignity. The elders of the house will remain self-sufficient and eco-friendly in most ways. They will have their own electricity generation through wind / water energy, produce their own vegetables, poultry, dairy etc. self-sufficient things. All these additional factors will provide life support to the elderly and children in a healthy and nurturing environment.
Why is social justice important?
The idea that all people are entitled to human rights is central to a world free of poverty. Poverty is not always caused by a lack of economic resources; It is often the result of discrimination or social injustice that prevents people from accessing the tools, resources and education they need to improve their situation. So social justice is vital to our mission to fight poverty. We know that empowering people – women in particular – enables them to assert their rights and lift themselves, the entire family and the entire community out of poverty.
The principles of social justice are very simple and all people are equal under this justice. All people deserve equal rights. And all people deserve to be treated with respect.
Social injustice comes in many forms. This comes to the fore when women are victims of violence at the hands of their partners; When Indigenous and other vulnerable groups are excluded from schools or governments; When the world's poorest people suffer the most from the effects of climate change... and the list goes on.
This is the reason why Shramik Foundation wants to carry out thousands of projects every year to facilitate lasting change and this is possible only with more effort from all of you.
Strengthen the capacity for self-help
Provide economic opportunities
Emergency relief
Influencing policy decisions at all levels
Addressing discrimination in all its forms
Driven by the aspirations of local communities, let us continue to pursue our mission with both excellence and compassion as the people we serve and will serve are second to none.
When older people are unable to live with their families or are destitute, they may experience feelings of security and self-worth. The effort of the institution will also keep their mind-body faculties active and help them to use their free time constructively. Similarly, instead of losing a family life, orphans and homeless children can grow up in a caring and happy environment. It combines the problems of the aged and orphans and solves it through a simple yet effective solution.
Come let us all make a new beginning together with the Shramik Foundation !
